There are a great number of people in this world who will face the year 2023 without the hope and serenity that can only come from Christ. So let’s remember our true calling to love others as we love ourselves before we put all of our attention on ourselves.
We all tend to imagine a prosperous and upbeat future as the year 2022 comes to a close and the new year gets underway. Let us remember to seek the Lord’s guiding presence as we release ourselves from all the negative things we went through in the last year and anticipate a fresh start.
In 2022, God has continued to remain with us as He has done since the beginning and will do so until the very end. A lasting promise is that of Immanuel, God with us.
We got Jesus’ perpetual joy and trust in His enduring promise when we received Him as our Lord and Savior. Through the gospel and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, we can sense His presence. There are a great number of people in this world who will face the year 2023 without the hope and serenity that can only come from Christ.
Therefore, let us remember our true calling to be fishers of men (Mark 1:17) and to create disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) by loving others as we love ourselves before we concentrate on our appearances, objectives, and vision boards for the New Year (Matthew 22:29).
1. How Can Christians Overcome the Darkness of Life?
Despite how gloomy things may appear, light may enter the shadows and illuminate our life. Jesus provides us the hope to live in freedom despite the degree of darkness in our lives.
We keep our spirits clean by confessing our faults to God, others, and others around us. This helps us to rid ourselves of any sin that might prevent us from living fully in the light.
2. Why Does Love Not to Keep Any Records Wrong? By Michelle Treacy
Love is a decision we make in our interactions with others; it does not cling to the hurts of the past. By being kind, and patient, putting others before ourselves, keeping our mouths shut when it would be simpler to lash out, and refusing to keep track of other people’s wrongdoings, we choose to love others.
3. How Are the Righteous as Bold as a Lion? By Jessica Brodie
The righteous are uncontrolled by their conscience like a lion. They can move forwards in peace and tranquility knowing that God Almighty is guiding and watching over them because their conscience is clear and pure. God Almighty has total authority over everything. He did create the universe, thus everyone should bow down to Him.
4. How Can We Completely Trust in God? By Candice Lucey
It takes time to learn to trust God, but he continually shows himself in the life of the believer. It eventually becomes obvious that nothing and no one else can offer a long-lasting remedy for anxiety, grief, and suffering.
By putting our trust in him, we can do so. This entails working on your behaviors, which were a diversion from your dread and a manifestation of your mistrust and impatience. We develop the ability to find calm in God over time.
5. Why Is it Pleasant When God’s People Live Together in Unity? By Sophia Bricker
Due to this tendency for conflict and fighting, the body of Christ needs to be united. Since we are all united in Christ and a part of His church, we ought to work towards fostering goodwill.
We display the gospel’s power and live in a way that pleases the Lord when we live in harmony with other Christians. It is nice for believers to live in peace, as Psalm 133 informs us.
